Mobile USB Security
TYREX MOBILE
Portable USB security for high-risk environments
A tough, lightweight removable media scanning station for teams operating across multiple sites and in extreme environments. Bring multi-layered USB security to any location. Identify and neutralize viruses and malware in the field before they compromise sensitive endpoints and networks.
Sanitize USB Devices in Minutes
Insert
Users connect their devices to start the decontamination process.
Scan
The station scans files and partitions with antivirus, behavioral assessment, and advanced threat detection.
Secure
The station quarantines or erases malicious code and content for total threat removal.
A USB Security Solution That Moves With Your Teams
The TYREX MOBILE delivers enterprise-grade USB threat detection for field engineers, maintenance technicians, and mobile operators. It goes with your teams wherever USB security is needed.
USB Threat Neutralization
Deploy five antivirus engines and two AI-powered anti-malware engines simultaneously to detect known and emerging threats. Identify and neutralize viruses, malware, Advanced Persistent Threats (APTs), and BadUSB firmware attacks.
Rugged Portability
At 1.3kg with a 10-inch HD touchscreen and optional 4G/5G connectivity, the TYREX MOBILE is our most field-deployable decontamination station. The 1000-nit screen remains readable in direct sunlight, and the stylus supports use with gloves in any conditions.
Military-Grade Hardening
MIL-STD-810H environmental certification and MIL-STD-461G electromagnetic compatibility make the MOBILE suitable for defense and military applications. The ruggedized case can withstand 1.8-meter drops, vibration, and extreme operational temperatures.
IP65 and ATEX Certified
IP65 certification provides complete protection against dust ingress and water jets. Optional ATEX certification enables safe USB security deployment in explosive atmosphere environments where standard electronic equipment is prohibited.
Secure File Transfer
Copy files to secure shares and between USB devices without connecting to sensitive systems. Instead of connecting potentially infected media, operators scan and transfer clean, verified files.
Air Gap Mode for Sensitive Environments
Decontaminate removable media in air-gapped networks and zero-trust environments where internet connectivity is prohibited. Security teams can manually update antivirus signatures and system software with secure USB devices.
Take Control of USB Decontamination Across Your Organization
Plug-and-Play Deployment
Minimize IT overhead with true plug-and-play deployment. TYREX MOBILE requires minimal installation or configuration. Just connect and scan. Your USB security system stays up-to-date without manual intervention.
Centralized Management
Use the TYREX Management Server to administer all of your decontamination stations from a central location. Available with SaaS or on-premises deployment in online or offline environments.
Reporting and SIEM Integration
Track USB threats across your organization with centralized reporting and logging. TYREX integrates with your SIEM platforms, so USB security events flow directly into your existing monitoring and incident response infrastructure.

TYREX MOBILE USB Security: Frequently Asked Questions
Can I manage multiple TYREX MOBILE units centrally?
Yes. All TYREX MOBILE units integrate with the TYREX Management Server, which is available hosted in the cloud, on-premise, or for air-gapped deployments. Central management provides remote configuration, policy management, automated updates, real-time monitoring, comprehensive reporting, and compliance audit trails for all of your decontamination stations.
What types of USB threats does TYREX MOBILE detect?
The MOBILE detects a comprehensive range of threats, including ransomware, Advanced Persistent Threats (APTs), trojans, worms, infostealers, BadUSB firmware attacks, and encrypted payload delivery. It uses five antivirus engines plus two AI-powered antimalware engines (ORION and GLIMPS) to identify threats. Once threats are identified, they can be quarantined or deleted.
How does the TYREX MOBILE compare to software-only USB security solutions installed on a laptop?
Software-only solutions run on potentially compromised host computers. They can be bypassed by sophisticated malware and depend on the security of the scanning system itself. The TYREX MOBILE provides hardware-isolated scanning in a hardened device protected from the security issues that affect laptops and other general-purpose computers. The TYREX MOBILE is also far more durable than standard laptops, and is certified for environments in which consumer-grade hardware would not function correctly.
What is ATEX certification, and do I need it?
ATEX certification qualifies equipment for use in explosive atmosphere environments. You need ATEX certification to use a decontamination station in high-risk environments in oil and gas facilities, chemical processing plants, mining operations, or any environment where flammable gases or dust create explosion risks. The TYREX MOBILE is available in an ATEX-compliant configuration.
Is the TYREX MOBILE suitable for office environments?
If your office environment has standard conditions and devices remain stationary, the TYREX SATELLITE or TYREX CONSOLE may be a better choice. Organizations with contractors moving between sites, temporary field offices, or mobile command centers benefit from the TYREX MOBILE’s portability and ruggedness.
